Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has released the December report for Canada: Outlook for Principal Field Crops. For 2016/17, the production of flaxseed is estimated at 579,000 tonnes in Canada based on a harvested area of 338,000 hectares. A significant decrease from 2015/16.
